What is NSIC?

National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) is an Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

NSIC assist micro and small enterprises with a set of specially tailor made schemes designed to promote, aid and foster the growth of micro and small enterprises in the country.

NSIC has proved its strength within the country and abroad by promoting micro and small enterprises globally.

NSIC runs various schemes such as

Single Point Registration (Government Purchase Registration)

The Government is the single largest buyer of a variety of goods. NSIC registers Micro & small Enterprises (MSEs) under Single Point Registration scheme (SPRS) for participation in Government Purchases.

Benefits of GP Registration Consortia and Tender Marketing:

Micro and small enterprises with their individual capacity face problems to procure large orders due to various restrictions in the tender. In such case NSIC adopts a consortia approach and these orders are distributed to micro and small units according to their production capacity.

Infomediary Services

Infomediary services is a B2B portal where information related to buyers, sellers, tenders are uploaded on daily basis. Infomediary Services which is a one-stop, one-window bouquet of aids that will provide information on business, technology and finance.

Membership Benefits Raw Material Assistance

NSIC's Raw Material Assistance Scheme helps micro and small enterprises by way of financing the purchase of Raw Material (both indigenous & imported).

Performance & Credit Rating

To procure financial requirements of MSME units, NSIC has entered MOU with various banks.

To upgrade micro and small enterprises competence in terms of business and technologies by the way of getting rated through independent, renowned and professional rating agencies empanelled with NSIC.

The ratings enhance the creditability in business and help them in getting timely credit from banks at low rate of interest.

For getting rated micro and small enterprises gets 75% fees subsidy

Exhibitions and Technology Fairs

To showcase the competencies of Indian micro and small enterprises the units can take part in various trade exhibitions to capture market opportunities.

NSIC facilitates the participation of the micro and small enterprises by providing subsidy in rental etc.
